Just after 5 p.m, on Friday, the White Sox placed star third baseman Yoán Moncada and José Ruiz on the 10-day injured list for undisclosed reasons, mirroring the pair’s absence from workouts and the White Sox’s consistent indication that they could not comment on their absence, nor on the two positive COVID-19 tests they disclosed Sunday.
